Cancelling Appointments
If you wish to cancel your appointment. You can cancel the appointment through the NHS app. You can also call the surgery on 01709560005. You can attend the surgery in person to cancel at the reception desk. Or alternatively you can email the surgery at www.patientqueries.woodstock.bower@nhs.net
Routine Appointments
There are several ways of making a routine appointment with a doctor. You can either telephone the surgery, attend in person and speak to a Receptionist or contact us on www.patientqueries.woodstock.bower@nhs.net
You may now also make routine GP appointments on our Rotherham Health app.
Same Day Service
We offer a same day service running Monday to Friday: please ring the surgery from 8:00 AM to speak with our care navigators who will be able to direct you to the most appropriate service. This can include physiotherapy, mental health services and a pharmacy.
Urgent Appointments
If you feel that you have a problem that needs urgent attention you should telephone the surgery as early in the day as possible - reception is open from 8.00am each day, Monday to Friday. You may be asked for a contact telephone number so that a doctor, nurse or nurse practitioner can speak to you. If you need to be seen in the surgery, you will be given a time to attend, usually the same day. If an emergency arises after the morning surgery has finished, please telephone the surgery and let the receptionist know you need help or advice. The doctor on duty or a nurse will contact you and arrange for you to be seen or given appropriate advice.
Extended Access Appointments
There are now evening and weekend appointments available at a nearby surgery. Please contact Reception for appointments or further information. Appointments are available for a GP, ANP, Nurses and HCAs. These are run by our federation of GPs and are based across the borough.
Appointments with the Nurse or healthcare assistant
Appointments for all nurse-led clinics can be made in the usual way through Reception either by personal contact or by telephone. This includes Long term conditions, diabetes, immunisations and cervical smears.
