Repeat Prescriptions
Requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted over the telephone. You can request your repeat prescription by posting the counterfoil in the box provided in the Waiting Room, by sending in the counterfoil by post or on-line through our patient on-line service (please bring ID with you to apply)
Please ensure you have ticked the items required in the relevant boxes. Please allow three working days for processing.
If you would like your prescription to be returned to you by post, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Prescriptions can also be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice . This makes it very convenient and safe . We can also organise repeat prescribing. This is best done after a medication review, we can organise your repeat prescription to automatically be received by the pharmacy every month until your next medication review . This can only be done for medications that you need every month and at the moment cannot be done for controlled drugs. If you require further information please contact Reception.
Emergency Prescriptions
Very occasionally emergency prescriptions may be necessary, following a hospital attendance or contact with another health care professional. Please telephone Reception giving details and the appropriate member of staff will in most cases contact you by telephone to deal with it.
